We would like to invite you to the EMPHASIS Field Phenomics workshop, on the 6th of September 2018, as a satellite meeting of the Biometrics Eucarpia Conference in Ghent on 3-5 September 2018, more info: www.eucarpia-biometrics2018.be<http://www.eucarpia-biometrics2018.be> – note the extended abstract submission
The Field Phenomics workshop is focused on discussing future field trial and breeding research, in a (pan-)European context. The workshop will address the demand and requirements of the field trail researchers and breeders from academia and industry and the role of the ESFRI infrastructure projects EMPHASIS to support field phenomics.
This workshop will include a field site visit at the Flemish Institute of agriculture and fishery in Melle (ILVO), close to Ghent, presentations about the latest development in field phenomics and discussions how EMPHASIS may support field phenomics.
A bus will pick you up in the Ghent city center at 9AM. The pickup place will be announced after registration. A preliminary program for the day is given below.
