Regular expressions can be used to search for patterns in textual data, including nucleic acid and protein sequences. ATTENDANCE: Physical only because I cannot correct typos remotely :-). Location: IMP E-016 seminar room. PREREQUISITES: No programming experience is required to understand the basics. Most of the practical examples will be in Python, some in R and in Bash, so if you know one of these languages then you'll be able to profit a bit more. HOW MUCH? Free of charge. HOW TO REGISTER?
