Plant phenotyping develops into an important research theme with practical relevance in Europe. There is an increasing number of new and exciting initiatives
and growing visibility. Many institutions, new infrastructures, and colleagues from academia and industry are interested and involved.
EMPHASIS ?C the ESFRI-project for a pan-European Infrastructure for Multi-Scale Plant Phenotyping and Simulation for Food Security in a Changing Climate
will develop and support the upcoming developments at a European scale.
The EMPHASIS-newsletter will inform about progress towards implementation of EMPHASIS, upcoming events in EMPHASIS-PREP and results of the discussions
and, beyond the immediate EMPHASIS-focus, we will also address topics and interesting news for the entire European plant phenotyping community.
