We would like to invite you to the EMPHASIS Field Phenomics workshop,
on the 6thof September 2018, as a satellite meeting of the Biometrics Eucarpia Conference in Ghent, 3-5 September 2018.
The Field Phenomics workshop is focused on discussing the future of field phenotyping
and breeding research, in a (pan-)European context. The workshop will address the demand and requirements of the field trail researchers and breeders from academia and industry and the role of the ESFRI infrastructure project
EMPHASIS (https://emphasis.plant-phenotyping.eu/) to support field phenomics in Europe in the future.
This workshop will include a field site visit at Flanders research institute for agriculture, fisheries and food (ILVO), close to Ghent, a
keynote presentation of Dr. Onno Muller, head of field phenotyping FZJ, and important discussions on how EMPHASIS may support you in your field phenomics research and in an European context.
